Kadence Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") is part of the Kadence Terms of Service. It governs how you may use Kadence. Because Kadence sends email in your name through your own mailbox, you carry primary responsibility for lawful, respectful outreach. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Policy.
1. Your email and anti-spam responsibilities
When you use Kadence to contact prospects, you agree that you will:
- Send only to recipients you have a lawful basis to contact, and only for legitimate business-to-business purposes consistent with applicable law.
- Comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and all other applicable marketing, privacy, and electronic-communications laws (including state and international laws that may apply to your recipients).
- Keep your sender identity and the physical mailing address you configure in Kadence accurate and current. This address appears in your email footers.
- Honor opt-outs promptly. Kadence adds an unsubscribe link to your emails and maintains a per-workspace suppression list; you must not attempt to circumvent, remove, or defeat these mechanisms, and you must not contact anyone who has opted out through any channel.
- Not send deceptive subject lines, forged headers, or misleading "from" information.
Kadence's automated footer, unsubscribe handling, and suppression list are provided to support your compliance. They do not make you compliant on their own and do not transfer your legal responsibility to Haun Lab.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use Kadence to:
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages outside a lawful basis, or messages to purchased or scraped lists you have no right to contact.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or deceive any person, or send unlawful, obscene, or discriminatory content.
- Violate the privacy or rights of others, or process personal data without a lawful basis or required notices.
- Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, probe or breach security, or disrupt the service.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service or its non-public data; exceed rate limits; or use the service to build a competing product.
- Misuse third-party integrations or another party's enrichment credits or API keys.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of the Terms.
3. Data you bring
You are responsible for the data you upload or assemble in Kadence, including ensuring you have the right to process personal data about third parties (such as decision-makers) and to contact them.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate, with or without notice depending on severity. Serious or repeated violations, and any conduct that creates legal risk or harms recipients, the service, or others, may result in immediate termination.
5. Reporting
To report abuse or a suspected violation, contact taylor@haunlab.com.
